The minimum requirements for entry to the BScN Nursing Programme is:

Five (5) CXC Subjects at Grades 1, 2 or 3 or GCE A, B or C or a combination of both.

However, only two of these subjects should be at Grade 3 CXC or Grade C, GCE.

Cape subjects may be accepted at Grades 1-4, in combination with CXC or GCE but must not be the same subject.
- Integrated Science will not be accepted as one of the core/compulsory Science subjects.
- The acceptable Science subjects are Biology, Human and Social Biology, or Biology (CAPE)
